Shoyo Hinata pursues his volleyball dreams at Karasuno High, inspired by a legendary former player. To advance, he must partner with his middle school rival Tobio Kageyama, and together they face off against Nekoma High in a decisive match between two underdog teams.
Cindy says
This volleyball showdown delivers exactly what the franchise promises: explosive animation, genuine chemistry between rivals-turned-partners, and matches that grip you despite knowing the sport cold. Mitsunaka keeps the energy propulsive without sacrificing character moments, though the film's familiar underdog beats feel slightly rote. Still, if you're already invested in Karasuno, this is essential.
