Three Hong Kong street youths flee to war-torn Saigon after a deadly gang incident, only to find themselves caught between criminal syndicates and the chaos of the Vietnam War. Their bonds of friendship fracture under the weight of survival and betrayal.
Cindy says
Woo's Vietnam-set action opus is a fever dream of violence and betrayal, where stylish gunplay collides with genuine emotional devastation. The chemistry between the three leads carries you through its grueling runtime, making the carnage feel like it actually matters. It's messy and excessive, but that's partly the point.
