Cindy says
Schoenbrun pulls off the neat trick of making a horror-comedy that's genuinely funny and unsettling without winking at either. Einbinder and Anderson have real chemistry navigating the film's descent into delirious camp-slasher chaos, and the direction stays playful while never losing its edge. It's messy in the best way.
