After his grueling bout with champion Apollo Creed, Rocky struggles to build a life outside the ring despite settling down with Adrian. When Creed demands a rematch to reclaim his tarnished reputation, the two fighters are drawn back into conflict for a decisive second confrontation.
Cindy says
Stallone's second round is leaner and meaner than the original—less poetry, more raw spectacle. The rematch itself delivers genuine brutality, though the middle sags with repetitive drama. Still, there's real heart here, and Stallone proves he can direct action that actually lands.
