Rocky Balboa faces his toughest challenger yet in the brutal Clubber Lang, losing his title and confidence. To reclaim his crown, Rocky must train with his former rival Apollo Creed and rediscover what made him a champion.
Cindy says
Stallone shifts behind the camera here, and the result is pure '80s cheese—but the kind that actually works. Mr. T's Clubber Lang is gloriously over-the-top, the training montages hit hard, and there's genuine heart in Rocky's comeback arc. It's not subtle, but it's effective.
