A documentary crew investigates an explosion at an elderly care home that killed 70 residents. As they gather footage and interviews, the filmmakers become entangled in identifying which of three suspects orchestrated the tragedy as a suicide mission.
Cindy says
A darkly comic mystery about a film crew investigating a nursing home explosion that killed 70 seniors—the premise is deliberately provocative, and it mostly works. Sklavos balances gallows humor with genuine emotional weight, anchored by strong performances that keep the morbid subject matter from feeling exploitative. Bold stuff, even if the tonal juggling occasionally stumbles.
