Saga and her husband Jon welcome their newborn in a remote Finnish forest, but Saga becomes haunted by a disturbing suspicion about their child that she keeps hidden. As the truth isolates her from Jon, their new family life descends into psychological unease.
Cindy says
Bergholm mines genuine dread from maternal paranoia, but the premise outstays its welcome before hitting its final act payoff. Grint feels miscast against Haarla's committed unraveling, and the Finnish forest setting deserves better than a horror-thriller that mistakes ambiguity for depth.
